DESIGNS CREATED BY GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDENTS FROM EAST VALLEY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (EVIT)

Southwest Maker Fest challenged EVIT Graphic Design Students of Mr. Eric Perez to create a design that could be used for the SWMF 2015 Poster and Program Cover.  The work submitted was so good, we wanted to share it with all of you here!  In addition to these poster images, many students did creative treatments of the SWMF logo.  We thank all the students for their wonderful creative efforts! THE WINNING DESIGN WAS BY ALEX ZELASKO, and is the FIRST IMAGE BELOW.  Thank you so much, Alex, for this great design! Alex's home school is Queen Creek High School.

As you'll see, the design by Alex features a background of all kinds of "maker" images, making it a perfect companion piece to the SWMF postcard design, which has a background featuring hash tags of a wide variety of types of makers!
